Fortis Saxonia, the team of the Chemnitz University of Technology participates in the Shell Eco-marathon and competes with about 250 international teams.
Would you like to contribute? Applying you theoretical knowledge while building a futuristic vehicle or acquiering sponsors? Here you have the chance.
Aside from the technical evolution, Fortis Saxonia combines project work with university education. It is possible to get project work accepted within the curriculum, particularly by writing a project work on an optimization task of the project or with an internship in one of the sponsoring companies. Another aim is the cooperation with other universities. For high school students this project offers the opportunity to work on certain problems and solving them independently. This offers high school graduates the chance to get in touch with technical studies and encourages them to take up studies in the field of engineering.
